Taking into account factors such as the projected growth in energy demand and security of supply issues the renewable energy sector is a market that has and is experiencing huge growth. In the UK we’ve signed up to EU Renewable Energy Directive which legally binds us as a nation to produce 15% of our energy from renewables by 2020. Additional legislative and regulative drivers such the Feed-in-Tariffs (FiT’s), the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and the Green deal are adding to the drive toward low carbon power generation.
